Darjeeling Oolong - Last Auction

A cup of history, this special production tea from the Singbulli estate was one of last teas sold at the very last "call-out" auction, ending a 150 year tradition. Only 5 kilos of this tea was made three of which were bought by Dan Robertson. The other two kilos remained in India. Whole, large leaves and silvery buds, this FOP 2nd flush yields a rich body with hints of fruit wood, cocoa, and autumn leaves with light astringency.
