Black Dan Cong - Champion

Winner of the Best Tea Award at the Hong Kong Intl. Tea Competition and First Place in the N. A. Tea Championship this deliciously unique tea was made by master tea maker Huang Shuwei. Starting with a Mi Lan Xiang, he allows the leaves to fully oxidize which brings out even more fruity and floral qualities than the traditional oolong tea. Harvested from mature tea bushes and carefully withered, rolled, oxidized and baked, it takes over 24 hours of constant monitoring to create this exception "cross-over" tea. Brewing: 4 grams (1.5 tbsp), 190 deg, 1.5 min, 4 inf. A 10 sec initial infusion is recommended.
