Payment can be made by Visa or MasterCard, money order, or personal check (allow 10 working days for check to clear before shipment).

Shipping for credit card and prepaid orders, and account orders from stock will be shipped within 48 hrs. Backordered items will be shipped as soon as they are available. Back orders for items that can be restocked will be held for 5 weeks only. To maintain optimal freshness and quality, orders within the U.S. are shipped on via Priority Mail (2-3 days). Next day delivery is available at an additional cost. Insurance may be purchased for an additional cost. For international orders, shipment is generally made via First Class Airmail depending on the country of destination. An additional charge of $25 is initially charged on all international orders. Any unused portion from the actual cost will be deducted from the charges when the order is processed for payment. The total shipping charges will be shown on the invoice. As tea is a seasonal crop and many of our fine teas are produced in small quantities, an item may become sold out. If you don’t see something you’re looking for, ask! We are often able to special order items not listed in this collection. Special orders must be prepaid in full.

Returns are accepted for defective or incorrect merchandise. Please contact us for instructions. Do not return merchandise to us without first contacting us. If insurance was purchased for the shipment, please contact the carrier directly for instructions. In most cases this is your local post office. In case of damage, save all original packaging materials for carrier inspection. We are happy to be of assistance with any claim. If damaged items are returned to us without authorization, it will void the carrier's insurance coverage and no refund or credit will be given. Return or damage claims will be honored if requested within 14 days of your receipt of goods. For our customers’ protection, sales of foods and perishable items are sold on a non-returnable and non-refundable basis.  Non-perishable items that are not damaged but do not meet your satisfaction may be returned for full credit, less shipping cost. Return shipping costs for such items is at the customers expense.
