Three-time winner in the World Green Tea Competition, this delicious Japanese Black Tea (Wa Ko Cha) from Makinohara area in Shizuoka prefecture, offers a mild yet complex flavor. The dry leaf gives off a sweet aroma of dried dates or prune. When infused, the black broken leaves, and a sprinkling of golden buds, brew a bright honey-colored liquor which has hints of caramel and fruit with floral high notes.
