Kamairi Cha
A very unique and historic green tea from the town of Ureshino in Saga, Fukuoka. While most Japanese teas are steamed, Kamairi Cha is hand-rolled and pan-fried. Produced for several hundred years, the tea making skills are adapted from Korean techniques. Rich and roasted yet juicy and vegetal, this tea is mellow and smooth but full flavored. Less grassy than steamed teas. Vibrant yellow liquor and captivating aroma. Brewing: 1.5 tsp, 170 deg, 2 min, 3 inf.
