Rou Gui - Zhu Ke
A rare find! With unique hints of peach in the aroma and taste, this Rou Gui is from Zhu Ke, one of the legendary, historic "whole rock" tea areas in Wuyi Mtns. Plucked on May 7th, 2018 and roasted 3 times over 3 months by tea maker Wu Jian. The long, dark, twisted leaves have a rich, baked aroma with hints of nuts and cooked fruit. Full bodied, the traditional rock flavor is complemented by a complex fruity sweetness and a creamy smooth quality, especially in the finish. Only 1 kilo available!!
