Silver Needle Pu Er Cake - 2008
Sheng or "raw" type of Pu Er tea, this cake is a real treasure. These plump, tender, young, Spring buds were picked in 2008 at the peak of their flavor and compressed into traditional cakes before being allowed to naturally age. Produced in Lin Cang from the famously sweet bushes, the luxurious, smooth flavor teases the palate with hints of currant and barely any of the mustiness of typical Pu Er teas.
